Ordered beef noodle soup, and various dishes for togo. The portions are big and they are delicious. Price is affordable too.
MoreI ordered deep fried pork with rice. That was good. But other people at the shop seemed to order soop noodles. It looks very good. OK, next time I will try them. The tea was weak. I wish it were more strong. Good place to eat out.
MoreGood tasting food, good portion sizes, fair prices, can't go wrong
Prices have gone up to about $10 per dish, while the food is still mediocre. They claim that they've increased prices to keep up with increasing costs in the area while maintaining quality. Well, the quality wasn't that mind-blowing. The beef noodle soup was quite oily and heart burn inducing. However, at least they gave some pretty big hunks of beef (tendon, etc). The pork over rice was pretty good, but not worth the cost. The environment is pretty shoddy and no-frills. Not worth the prices on the menu, and I probably won't be back. There are definitely better places farther South, but I guess you have to foot the costs for being in the Castro when eating at Queen House.
MoreOur favorite Chinese food restaurant in Mountain View. The General Tso’s chicken is the gold standard my husband compares all others to.Excellent prices for what you get.
MoreGreat if you go there in person, but don't order online.
Quick and easy pick up for take out. Consistent taste. They do need to update their online menu. Attached are as of July 2020.
MoreThis restaurant is my favorite site. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. Whenever I I need a decent meal, this place comes straight to my mind. excellent and many types of food and a large menu.professional crew, and pleasant ambience. And very important, the expence is fair. I suggest this restaurant with great pleasure.
MoreChinese comfort food served here. Simple and tasty. And inexpensive. The place is usually crowded.
MoreTheir food tastes like microwaved packaged food. But it's not too bad. They offer many types of Taiwanese food and serves very quickly.
Moregood and affordable Taiwanese place. Love their beef noodle soup.
Been a regular here. Happy with both food and service. The place is small but we came with a party of 8 today (Sunday, second day of CNY) and were served in about 15 minutes. Lots of good dishes, and the popcorn chicken is a must order dish!
MoreFood ok, slow service, portion is ok. Flavor is average
Taiwanese food is comfort food to me, so I really enjoyed eating here. The restaurant connects to the boba tea era nextdoor, so i think when you order boba it comes from there. The food was food and came in big sizes. Price was correct, even affordable for the area. No complaints and will be coming back for more!
MoreGenerous portions and large cuts of chicken in our general tso’s. Best we’ve ever had! Thank you for the comfort food during the pandemic, queen house!!
MoreI simply love their food. I always get good customer service there. The place is always clean and the cashiers are always very welcoming. Highly recommended.
MoreGreat Taiwanese restaurant in Castro street, mountain view. Very authentic Taiwan food. Service is great.
MoreBest place in the area for a nice bowl of Taiwan Style beef (and noodle) stew. Good MuShu pork and tasty onion pancakes. It's a tight squeeze but usually not too crowded. Check the hours before you go by, currently they are closed on Tuesdays.
MoreThe greatest comfort food. Seriously. If you're looking for noodles in soup, with (Chinese) sauces, or mixed with veggies and meat (chow fun), this is your place. So savory and umami.
MoreIt's cozy here. The food is tasty and hot on a cold night. Appreciate the time to savor the time with friends, but get here early to avoid the wait. Afterward, enjoy tea next door.
MoreQueen's house is a small hole in the wall place on Castro Street. They have a large selection of noodles and entrees they also have a lunch special Monday through Friday and specialize in noodle dishes. Queen's house always seems to be crowded during lunch time a favorite place for many people in the area to get food at lunch time. I have not checked the hours lately but they used to be closed Tuesday's only. Last time I was there I had the combination wonton soup and general chicken lunch special it was very good. I have been going there a few times a year for at least a decade now probably longer.
MoreThis spot knows how to treat their clients. Regularly with a very kind approach. The food is reasonably priced, always yummy and clean.
